Easter

 Alli with her Bunny

 Easter day with Aunt Jana
Sitting on her rocking horse with Uncle Ky

Alli's grandpa Helmbrecht got her this rocking horse. We put a fresh coat of paint on it and now she loves to sit on it. We're still working on the rocking part. Her rocking is more of a jumping while sitting.

Springtime

(March 2012)

March we had some awesome spring weather. There were quite a few days in the 70's. Can't ask for better weather. I was able to get some good spring pictures of Alli that turned out way cute!

Typical tongue on everything and always out.

How cute is that smile....if you're not smiling after this pic, I don't know what will make you smile!

First Cereal

(January 2011)

The first part of January we decided to try giving Alli rice cereal to see if she would start sleeping better at night. She loved it....and she did start sleeping better! It was a win-win situation!

Chewing on the spoon.

Gotta love those cheeks!!

Sitting Up

Christmas

Sadly I have lost my pictures of Christmas....I know they are hear some where. Oh well...

Christmas was so much fun this year. We spent all of Christmas Eve at my parent's place. There was lots of good food and lots of laughs! Alli made out pretty good with all her gifts....it's a good thing we up-graded to a SUV rather than a car because we needed all the room. Alli only took 1 nap that day for an hour. She was such a trooper. There was so much going on and she wasn't going to miss a minute of it. She fell asleep on the way home (we only live about a mile from my parents) and didn't wake up until 7 Christmas morning. She was tuckered out!

Christmas morning we opened our gifts from each other....Alli got a Johnny Jumper from Santa. She loves it.

After gifts, we headed out to David's grandpa's to visit and then came back home and had mom and dad over for lunch. The rest of the day was followed by many other visitors. It was nice to be able to stay home and enjoy the day. This was the beginning of our Christmas Tradition that we plan on keeping.

Christmas Card Pics

(December 2011)

For our Christmas cards, we decided to gift wrap a box and stick Alli in it...poor girl has crazy parents that stick in her all kinds of things just to get a picture.

This was pretty much the best picture that we got. Turns out, all she wanted to do was look at the tissue paper and play with the wrapping paper.

We took her out of the box to get some pictures of her in just her dress. At the time she was all about having her thumb and pointer finger in her mouth at all times...which turned out to be cute pictures.

No Arms

(December 20110)

I have to laugh everytime I see this picture. My cousin gave us this play station since they were done with it. This was one of the first times Alli was in it. She couldn't quite reach the bottom so she's on her tippy toes and all she wanted to do was suck on the seat. It's so funny that you can't see her arms at all. It kept her entertained for quite awhile though...can't argue with that!

Thanksgiving

(November 24th, 2011)

Alli was dressed in her camo dress for Thanksgiving and I got a bunch of good pictures of her in it. She had so much fun at Thanksgiving dinner at my aunt and uncles place. She got to watch everyone enjoying themselves. She enjoyed the feast along with the rest of us by eating yummy mashed potatoes!

Family Photos

My very talented cousin-in-law agreed to take pictures of the family. This was the first snow fall of the season. When it stopped snowing we had about a foot of snow. I love these pics though....they turned out perfect!

And of course do you think I can find the picture of David, Alli and I....of course not. I'm guessing it is in the same place that my brain is! So if anyone finds it...please return! :)

Alli's First Campfire

(October 2011)

The weather was nice in October so we were able to have a campfire at Mom & Dad's. Alli was mesmerized by the flames....so much so that she fell asleep. This is a good thing since we will be going on a lot of camping trips in the future.
